Grow With Kat
From Etsy shop to brand world.
Kat had a beautiful catalog of stock photos and Canva templates on Etsy. She installed my Studio Starter theme, made it her own, and brought me in to shape the offer, build the launch emails and polish every page. Today Grow With Kat is an editorial Shopify brand with a launch system behind it.
Shopify was completely new to me when I started.
A beautiful catalog, sold 1 file at a time.
Kat had already done the hard creative work. Stock photo collections, Instagram templates, a planner, email templates and an eBook, all in her signature editorial style. Each one lived on Etsy as its own listing, with her website and her email list on another platform.
Etsy is a great place to start. It is also a place where buyers find a file, buy the file and move on. Kat wanted a home for the brand itself, and Shopify was brand new territory.
How did I not see that?
The way you looked at my catalogue and recognised that I'd already built my signature offer in pieces, and that my positioning had been sitting in my catalogue the whole time, completely changed how I look at Grow With Kat.
Her signature offer was already in her catalog.
I audited her offer, her catalog and her positioning. Every product she sold carried the same visual direction, which meant she had already built a complete brand world in pieces. We packaged it as The Grow Kit: 1 purchase that makes everything a founder posts, sends and sells look like 1 designer made it.
Then we gave it a front door. The Mini Grow Kit, 30 free matching pieces, became the opt in that grows her list and leads straight to the full kit.

She built it herself on The Studio Starter.
Kat installed my Studio Starter theme, a prebuilt editorial Shopify theme with the layouts, type and conversion structure already designed. Then she made it hers: her imagery, her fonts, her Editorial Black and Cherry Red worlds and her voice on every page.
The bones are mine. The brand is entirely hers. That is exactly what the theme is for: the design work is done, so a founder spends her time on the brand.

Then I took it from built to brand.
Kat handed me the store and I finished it with her. A sitewide copy pass so every page sounds like Grow With Kat. Editorial Black leads as the hero kit, with Cherry Red as the bolder second world. A done for you section so she can sell custom brand builds.
Then the launch details: a Shop All menu, redirects from her old site, her domain moved to Shopify, and every checkout tested before the store went live.

Emails that sell the whole world.
I built the email strategy behind the launch and designed every email in Klaviyo in Kat's brand. A signup popup delivers The Mini Grow Kit. From there, 5 welcome emails move a new subscriber 1 step deeper each time: the freebie, Kat's story, the full world, the offer, then every piece on its own alongside her done for you service.
Abandoned cart and post purchase flows catch everyone else, so the store keeps selling while Kat creates.
How did I not see that?
I was genuinely blown away. I've read it through a few times already, and I can honestly say it's one of the most valuable pieces of feedback I've ever received for my business. You somehow took everything that had been swirling around in my head for months and made complete sense of it. What I thought would be feedback on my worksheet turned into so much more. You gave me clarity, a roadmap, and a completely different way of thinking about my business.
It is perfect. But it's also so much more than the polish.
